The trial regarding a revenge porn case involving influencer Ioanna Touni took place at the Thessaloniki Court of Appeal on March 27. The proceedings were held behind closed doors. During the session, the controversial video was projected, with reports indicating it was played multiple times to allow the court and legal teams to analyze specific details, including the conduct of the individuals involved. The first defendant provided their testimony during the hearing, while the second defendant is scheduled to testify when the trial resumes. Ioanna Touni, who was 23 years old when the incident occurred nine years ago, spoke in court about the significant psychological distress and social stigma she has faced. Her lawyer, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, argued that the footage shows the defendant acknowledging the recording process. The court session was interrupted after witness testimonies and will continue on April 1, at which point the second defendant will testify, followed by the prosecutor's recommendation and closing arguments.
