Trial proceedings continue in the revenge porn case involving Ioanna Touni

The trial of influencer Ioanna Touni regarding a revenge porn case took place at the Three-Member Court of Appeals for Felonies in Thessaloniki on Friday, March 27. The proceedings were conducted behind closed doors at the plaintiff's request. During the session, the controversial video was projected eight times to allow the court, jury, and both legal teams to analyze specific details. The defense argued that the footage shows the accused looking at the camera and smiling, while the defense team aims to prove the plaintiff was unaware of the recording. Touni, who arrived at the court shortly before 9 a.m., testified that the event, which occurred nine years ago when she was 23, caused her significant psychological trauma. She emphasized that she is pursuing the case to hold the perpetrator accountable and to support other victims of similar acts. Following the video analysis, the court recessed for ten minutes.
