APOEL and AEL advance to futsal league semifinals

APOEL secured their place in the futsal league semifinals by defeating Apollon 6-1 in the second match of the series, following their initial 8-3 victory. This 2-0 series win sets up a semifinal match against Omonia, who advanced by eliminating Enosi Neon Latsion. Meanwhile, AEL also reached the semifinals after beating Elpida Astromeriti 9-2 in their second match held at Melkonian on March 26, 2026. AEL had previously won the first game 5-0, securing a 2-0 series result. In the victory against Elpida, Skarparis and Krekos each scored three goals, while Sokratous, Hatzigeorgiou, and Rialas also contributed, with Andreou and Pavlou scoring for Elpida. AEL will now face the winner of the AEK-Agbu Ararat series in the next round with home-court advantage.
