Road closures announced in Nicosia for infrastructure works

The Nicosia Municipality has announced that roadworks will take place in the Lykavitos area from 06:00 on Saturday, March 28, 2026, until 06:00 on Monday, March 30, 2026. These works are part of the 'Appropriate construction of various roads in Nicosia – Contract 28 – Agioi Omologites' project. A section of Dimitsanis Street between Kalavryton Street and Naxou Street will be closed to traffic. Furthermore, access to Dimitsanis, Kalavryton, Naxou, and Orfeos streets will be restricted solely to residents. Streets including Voulgari, Kalavryton, Naxou, Orfeos, and Kypranoro will remain closed in accordance with prior project announcements. Traffic diversions and management will be regulated on-site via appropriate signage. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and adhere to traffic signals. The project is co-financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
