Weather forecast for Cyprus: Rising temperatures followed by unsettled conditions
Cyprus is expected to experience a significant rise in temperatures from Tuesday through Thursday, with inland values predicted to climb to between 26°C and 28°C, well above the seasonal average of 21°C to 22°C. Atmospheric dust is expected to be present throughout the period, with concentrations increasing from Thursday onwards. On Friday, the weather pattern will shift due to a low-pressure system moving in from the west. This transition will bring cloudier skies, stronger winds particularly along the coast, and a drop in temperature of approximately 3 to 4 degrees. Meteorologists forecast isolated rain showers and the possibility of thunderstorms starting Friday and continuing through the weekend. Until the change on Friday, conditions will remain mostly clear with periods of high cloud. Low pressure is set to influence the region, replacing the previous high-pressure influence. Coastal areas will also see increased wind activity as the disturbance arrives.
