24th Cyprus film days international festival jury and workshop announcement

The 24th Cyprus Film Days International Festival has announced the members of its international jury and a series of professional workshops. The jury is chaired by Matthijs Wouter Knol, executive director of the European Film Academy. Other jury members include producer Melanie Blocksdorf, film curator Anna Hoffmann, and screenwriter Christina Lazaridi. In conjunction with the festival, four specialized workshops will take place in Nicosia and Limassol. One featured intensive workshop on artificial intelligence in cinema, led by Elettra Fiumi, is scheduled for April 18-19, 2026, at the CYENS Centre of Excellence in Nicosia. The sessions are limited to twelve selected participants who will work in groups. Applications for these workshops are currently open to film professionals and enthusiasts. The program aims to explore modern filmmaking techniques, ranging from screenwriting to AI-integrated production.
