Police conduct nationwide security operations resulting in nine arrests
During recent overnight nationwide security operations, the police performed targeted patrols to maintain public order and prevent criminal activities. Officers stopped 639 vehicles and inspected 983 individuals across various urban areas. A total of nine people were arrested for several offenses, including attempted property damage using explosives and driving under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, police conducted 23 inspections of business premises, resulting in one formal report. During traffic enforcement, 315 violations were recorded, including three cases of impaired driving among 90 alcohol tests performed. Authorities also impounded nine vehicles as part of their ongoing investigative efforts. The police continue daily coordinated operations, increasing their presence and conducting targeted checks to ensure public safety.
