Weather update: weak low pressure brings dust and rain
The Department of Meteorology reports that a weak low-pressure system is currently affecting the region. Dust will remain in the atmosphere periodically until Monday. Today, weather conditions are characterized by medium and high cloud cover with a possibility of isolated rain, clearing gradually by the afternoon. Temperatures today will reach 25 degrees Celsius in the interior and coastal areas, and 19 degrees in the mountains. Overnight, conditions will be mostly clear with temperatures dropping to 12 degrees inland, around 15 at the coast, and 11 in the mountains. Sunday and Monday afternoons are expected to bring increased cloud cover, potentially resulting in isolated showers or storms, mainly in mountainous areas and the interior. By Tuesday, cloud cover will increase by midday, accompanied by local rains and isolated storms. Temperatures are expected to rise on Sunday before a slight decline occurs by Tuesday to return to average seasonal levels.
