Exhibition of 1974 invasion artifacts to be held in Paphos

The Paphos Technical and Vocational School of Education and Training is organizing an exhibition and album presentation titled 'Fragments of Memory – The Voice of Small Things'. The event showcases items saved during the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, highlighting the displacement experienced by refugees. Each artifact is accompanied by testimonials recorded in an accompanying album, aiming to preserve the collective memory of the period. The exhibition will open on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 19:00 at the Palia Ilektriki cultural venue in Paphos. It is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. The exhibit will remain open to the public daily from 11:00 to 16:00 until Monday, April 6. Proceeds from the sale of the commemorative album will be donated to support students of the school.
