Greek military parade commemorates March 25th with new defense technology

On March 25th, a military parade took place in central Athens to mark the national anniversary of the 1821 revolution. The event featured marching units from the Hellenic Armed Forces, security services, and the Evzones. A key focus of the parade was the introduction of the 'Agenda 2030' reform and the new Deterrence Doctrine. For the first time, all personnel participated wearing the new 'Modern Fighter' uniform designed for improved protection and agility. Defense Minister Nikos Dendias highlighted the 12-year long-term armament program and the integration of cutting-edge technologies. The parade featured the 'Kentavros' anti-drone system, developed through a partnership between the Hellenic Center for Defense Innovation (ELKAK) and the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI).
