Reports of arson involving a stolen motorcycle and a separate vehicle fire in Cyprus
A stolen motorcycle, reported missing on March 22 from the Pissouri area of Limassol, was found set on fire on Thursday evening. The motorcycle was located outside an abandoned house and was completely destroyed, with authorities confirming the fire was set maliciously. Investigation into the case is being conducted by the Episkopi and Pissouri police stations. In a separate incident on Monday morning in Emba, Paphos, a company-owned vehicle driven by a 52-year-old man caught fire while parked outside his residence. The owner extinguished the flames using a garden hose before the fire department arrived, resulting in significant damage to the engine area, dashboard, and windshield. The Paphos CID and the Electromechanical Service are investigating the cause of this blaze. Additionally, reports indicate another car fire in Limassol involving a 49-year-old woman's vehicle, which also caused damage to a second car nearby.
