Arson incidents reported involving two vehicles in Paphos and Limassol
Authorities in Cyprus are investigating two separate vehicle fire incidents. In the first case, a vehicle belonging to a 35-year-old man was destroyed by fire around 3:30 a.m. in the village of Armou, Paphos. Police investigations confirmed that the blaze was set maliciously. A separate incident was reported in Emba, Paphos, involving a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old, which sustained damage to its front end around 4:00 a.m. on March 26. Additionally, police in Limassol are investigating a case of suspected arson after a rental car was significantly damaged by fire in a children's play area car park at 5:50 a.m. The Limassol fire was extinguished by the Fire Service, and investigations are ongoing to determine who had possession of the rental vehicle. Authorities are currently working to identify the perpetrators behind these incidents.
