Mercedes-Benz announces the new VLE electric van

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the VLE, a new electric vehicle built on the proprietary modular Van Architecture platform. The model is designed to serve both family travel and premium transport services. It features a seating capacity of up to eight passengers and includes the Roll & Go system for seat removal or adjustment. Interior configuration can be controlled via a smartphone app or the onboard infotainment system through the Remote Variable Rear Space feature. The vehicle exhibits a drag coefficient of Cd 0.25 and incorporates Digital Light technology with a distinct inverted-U rear lighting signature. Interior amenities include a Sky View panoramic glass roof and extended ambient lighting throughout the cabin. The vehicle is positioned as a blend of luxury limousine comfort and multi-purpose vehicle utility.
