Cyprus tourism data for February 2026
Cyprus recorded 146,516 tourist arrivals in February 2026, marking a 9.5 percent increase compared to 133,760 arrivals in February 2025. Total arrivals for the first two months of 2026 reached 268,141, up from 245,860 during the same period in 2025, representing a 9.1 percent growth. The primary source of tourists in February 2026 was the United Kingdom at 19.3 percent, followed by Poland at 18.4 percent, Israel at 12.6 percent, Greece at 9.3 percent, and Germany at 6.6 percent. Vacation purposes accounted for 61.5 percent of visits, while 21.6 percent were to visit friends or relatives and 16.7 percent were for business. Additionally, trips abroad by Cyprus residents increased by 22.5 percent in February 2026, totaling 152,198 compared to 124,232 in February 2025. The most frequent destinations for Cyprus residents were Greece, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Poland.
