AEL and APOEL managers announce squad suspensions for upcoming matches
As of March 17, 2026, coaching staffs for AEL and APOEL have finalized the scheduling of suspensions for players who reached the yellow card limit. AEL manager Hugo Martins has decided that players Conceicao and Luther Singh will miss the first match of the second phase against Ethnikos Achnas, making them available for the subsequent game against Omonia Aradippou. Conversely, Milosavljevic will play in the opener against Ethnikos Achnas but will serve his suspension during the match against Omonia Aradippou. Separately, APOEL manager Pablo Garcia confirmed that Brazilian defender Vitor Meer, who was sent off against Aris, will serve his suspension during the second round match of the playoffs against Aris. Consequently, Meer is eligible to play in the playoff premiere against AEK. These tactical decisions were made to optimize roster availability throughout the opening rounds of the league's second phase.
