Eurobank conducts first aid training for employees' children in Nicosia

Eurobank organized a first aid training event in Nicosia for the children of its employees, aged six to twelve. The initiative was part of the bank's ongoing #VolunteersChallenge program. The event was coordinated by Eurobank's human resources department in collaboration with the State Health Services Organisation (OKYPY) ambulance service and training office. Participants received practical instruction on emergency responses, including calling for help, managing loss of consciousness, recovery positioning, and chest compressions. Children were also taught how to identify automated external defibrillators (AED) in public locations. Additionally, the training session covered road safety topics, such as safe behavior in vehicles and the use of protective gear for bicycles, scooters, and skates. Vasos Argyrou, a health and safety officer from the ambulance service, emphasized the importance of early-age first aid education.
