The player is currently scheduled to compete at the Miami Open, taking place from March 18 to March 29, where he will face a qualifier in the opening round. If successful, he would face Australia's Alex de Minaur in the second round. Reports attribute this decline to recent poor performances, including early exits at tournaments such as the Dubai Tennis Championships. Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz remains at the top of the ATP rankings, with Jannik Sinner closing the gap following his victory at Indian Wells.
