Anne Hathaway and Anna Wintour present awards at the 2026 Academy Awards

On Sunday, March 15, 2026, actress Anne Hathaway and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour appeared together on stage at the Academy Awards. The duo presented the awards for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling. Kate Hawley received the award for Best Costume Design for the film Frankenstein. The award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling was presented to artists Mike Hill, Cliona Furey, Jordan Samuel, and Megan Many. The appearance of the two public figures drew comparisons to the film The Devil Wears Prada, as Wintour is widely considered the inspiration for the character Miranda Priestly. A sequel to that film is currently scheduled for release in May. The event took place during the annual Oscar ceremony.
