Greece national football team squad announced for March friendlies

Head coach Ivan Jovanovic has announced the Greece national football team roster for upcoming friendly matches against Paraguay on March 27 at Karaiskakis Stadium and Hungary on March 31 at the Puskas Arena. The squad features two debutants, goalkeeper Antonis Tsiftsis and midfielder Sotiris Kontouris. Dimitris Giannoulis, Dinos Mavropanos, and Giannis Konstantelias have returned to the team after recovering from previous injuries. Several players have been excluded from this selection, including Manolis Siopis, Petros Mantalos, Fotis Ioannidis, Giannis Michailidis, Babis Kostoulas, and Marios Vihos. While Ioannidis is currently managing an injury recovery, the others were omitted for tactical or selection reasons. The roster includes four goalkeepers, with Tsiftsis selected following his strong performance at PAOK. This series of friendlies serves as part of the team's ongoing preparation cycle.
