Amesi Dimokratia announces 56 parliamentary candidates
The political party Amesi Dimokratia (Direct Democracy), led by Fidias Panagiotou, has officially presented its 56 candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections. The candidates were selected through a voting process conducted via the Agora application, with 16,080 citizens participating. The voting process concluded on March 14. The presentation took place at the Saint George hall in Limassol. Fidias Panagiotou received the highest number of votes in the Nicosia district, while Dimitris Souglis secured the top position in Limassol. The party released a full list of nominees across the districts of Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Famagusta, and Kyrenia, along with several alternate candidates for each region. These nominations finalize the party's ballot structure for the electoral contest.
