Arrests made following incident at Toumba stadium press box

During the 25th round match of the Super League between PAOK and Levadiakos at Toumba stadium, a group of fans confronted journalists in the press area. Eight individuals, aged between 22 and 45, were arrested, with a total of 14 people identified by authorities. The suspects face criminal charges including threats and illegal violence committed within a sports venue. Police intervened to evacuate the journalists, who were moved to the press room to finish watching the match. While some sources reported verbal threats, others indicated that objects were thrown, posing risks to the journalists' safety. The detainees were brought to the Thessaloniki court under tight security measures. The case is being handled by the Thessaloniki single-member misdemeanor court. Protests by groups supporting the detainees were noted near the courthouse during the processing of the case.
