Apollo and Anorthosis draw in the final match of the first phase
Apollon coach Hernan Losada addressed the media following his team's 1-1 away draw against Anorthosis. This result concluded the regular season, marking an unbeaten run for Losada since his arrival. The coach expressed satisfaction with the point earned despite his intention to win the match. He noted that his team had enough quality opportunities to score more than one goal. Losada identified the team's objective as securing second place to gain home advantage for the start of the playoffs. Regarding officiating, the coach remarked that while previous foreign referees were excellent, the current officials disrupted the game's rhythm through frequent VAR interventions and player consultations. Consequently, Losada advocated for the increased use of Cypriot referees in future matches.
