UAE official calls for Iranian compliance with international law

Nusseibeh emphasized that any disruption to the flow of energy through the Strait of Hormuz could cause chain reactions affecting global energy prices and food security. Despite the current tensions, she affirmed that the UAE recognizes Iran as an integral part of the region and respects its people, while insisting that Tehran must act as a responsible state.
