Burglary series reported in Limassol residential areas
On March 12, a burglary occurred at a residential building in the Pantea area of Limassol. Reports differ regarding the timing and number of participants, with one account stating two individuals broke in at 16:30, while another claims three individuals arrived in a dark vehicle around 17:00. The perpetrators, wearing face coverings, accessed the building and forced entry into a second-floor apartment using a hammer. Valuables, including jewelry, were stolen from the premises. Police confirmed that the building's main entrance was left unlocked, facilitating unauthorized access. Authorities are currently investigating a potential organized group suspected of committing similar crimes across Agios Athanasios, Pantea, Germasogeia, and Agia Fyla. No precise total value of stolen property has been established yet.
