Power outage impacts various regions in Cyprus
On Friday, March 13, 2026, a technical failure in the electricity production system occurred at 18:57, causing power outages across various regions of Cyprus. Initial estimates suggested a recovery time of approximately 10 minutes. The situation was resolved effectively within less than 20 minutes from the time of the failure. No long-term damage to the infrastructure has been reported by the authorities.
