It was revealed that Richard and his wife, Brenda, had been working as delivery drivers for over a year to cover medical expenses and living costs after Brenda lost her previous job. Following the online attention, a fundraising campaign was launched to support the couple. Over $500,000 has been donated by TikTok users to assist with their retirement. The couple confirmed that the financial support will allow them to step away from their delivery work.
