Eurogate Container Terminal Limassol and Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence sign cooperation agreement
Eurogate Container Terminal Limassol (ECTL) and the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence of the Cyprus University of Technology signed a memorandum of understanding on March 11. The agreement was finalized during the EXCELSIOR Space Industry Day event, which was organized by the Eratosthenes Centre and the EXCELSIOR Teaming Project. The primary objective of this five-year framework is to foster collaboration between the maritime logistics industry and the scientific space research community in Cyprus. Key areas of partnership include joint research and development, the preparation of technical studies, and environmental protection initiatives. The agreement also provides for staff training, knowledge transfer, and the development of new research programs. Additionally, both organizations committed to implementing corporate social responsibility projects. The signing ceremony featured a presentation by Alexandros Dimitriadis, Operations Director of ECTL, regarding the company's regional activities and investments. This partnership aims to strengthen the link between industrial operations and academic innovation within the Cypriot technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
