Diko announces candidates for the 2026 parliamentary elections in Paphos
The Democratic Party (Diko) has officially released its list of five candidates for the Paphos district ahead of the 2026 parliamentary elections. The candidates are Natasa Ioannou (journalist), Antri Konstantinidou (journalist), Chrysanthos Savvides (incumbent Member of Parliament), Kyriakos Simou (accountant and Deputy Mayor of Pelathousa), and Panikos Skordis (former member of the Paphos District Committee). Natasa Ioannou, one of the featured candidates, is a journalist with over 25 years of experience, holding an MBA and a degree in Communication and Media. She is noted for her reporting on issues affecting borrowers and the consequences of the 2013 bank deposit haircut. The party selection process aims to prepare for the upcoming legislative cycle.
