Meeting between Limassol EO and the Deputy Ministry of Shipping

On Thursday, March 12, the President of the Limassol Water Board (EOA), Yiannis Tsouloftas, and the General Director, Sokratis Metaxas, met with the Deputy Minister of Shipping, Marina Hadjimanoli. The meeting was attended by officials from both parties to discuss the EIT Water initiative. The EOA of Limassol is a founding member of this European Union Knowledge and Innovation Community. The initiative focuses on sectors including water management, shipping, and maritime ecosystems. Participants explored opportunities to leverage Cyprus's established maritime industry to foster European innovation. The dialogue centered on cooperation strategies to implement sustainable solutions in these critical fields. The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue active participation in EU initiatives aimed at regional development and technological progress.
