Art exhibition Pour Toujours held at Galeries Lafayette in Paris

From March 10 to April 27, 2026, the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann department store in Paris is hosting an art exhibition titled Pour Toujours. Curated by Chiara Parisi and Maurizio Cattelan, the exhibition integrates contemporary artworks into the store's historic space beneath the central glass dome. Featured artists include Cypriot creator Christodoulos Panayiotou, as well as Gloria Friedmann, Birgit Jürgenssen, and Lawrence Weiner. The initiative aims to foster dialogue between art, architecture, and public space, moving beyond traditional museum settings. The opening ceremony was attended by Guillaume Houzé, CEO of Galeries Lafayette Group Image. Christodoulos Panayiotou is noted for his work exploring themes of history and cultural memory using varied media such as installation and performance. The event emphasizes the role of commercial spaces as venues for public artistic engagement.
