The 10th Cyprus-Russia festival held in Limassol
The 10th Cyprus-Russia Festival took place on June 6 and 7 in the Limassol Municipal Park. The event was organized by the Vestnik Kipra group with support from the Embassy of the Russian Federation, the Limassol Municipality, the Cyprus-Russia Friendship Association, and the Andrey and Julia Dashin Charity Foundation. President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and Russian Ambassador Stanislav Osadchy attended the opening ceremony. Organizers estimated that over 20,000 people attended the two-day event, which featured a 16-hour concert program across three stages. Approximately 1,000 artists performed, including musicians Eleftheria Eleftheriou, Nikos Ganos, COOP Band, and the Russian group Fabrika. During the opening, the Andrey and Julia Dashin Charity Foundation provided a donation to the Stella Soulioti Children's Medical Center of the Red Cross. The festival, which originated in 2005, aims to celebrate cultural ties between the two countries.
