Regarding foreign policy, he emphasized Greece's strategic commitment to supporting Cyprus, noting that the deployment of military assets and diplomatic collaboration with European partners, particularly France, aims to ensure Cyprus does not face security threats alone. Mitsotakis described the relationship with Cyprus as an integral part of Hellenism. Addressing global instability, he noted that the conflict involving Iran could impact oil and gas supplies, creating potential economic risks for Europe and Greece. He stated that the government is monitoring the situation and is prepared to implement additional support measures if necessary, citing past actions during the pandemic and the energy crisis.
