Lidl publishes 2024 sustainability report for Cyprus and Greece

Lidl Cyprus and Lidl Hellas released a joint 2024 Sustainability Report titled “Redefining Sustainability – Building our Common Home”. The report utilizes a magazine format to outline the organization's unified strategy across five key areas of action. In 2024, Lidl Cyprus invested €589,700 in social and environmental initiatives, including the Lidl Food Academy, the Fifth Lidl Wellness Camp, and the ongoing partnership with the Hope For Children organization. Concurrently, Lidl Hellas invested €1.99 million in social projects, supporting partners such as The Smile of the Child. Vasiliki Adamidou, Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Lidl Cyprus, noted that the report aims to demonstrate sustainability through concrete, daily actions. The document also aligns with international standards and European directives at the Schwarz Group and Lidl Stiftung levels. This joint publication reflects a strategic effort to share best practices and increase the positive impact of the retail chain in both nations.
