Olympiacos defeated OFI 3-0 in Heraklion during the 25th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League. Forward Ayoub El Kaabi scored twice, in the 30th and 70th minutes, with the final goal added by Mouzakitis in stoppage time. With this brace, the Moroccan striker reached 80 goals for Olympiacos in 127 appearances, matching the record of Ilija Ivic. The victory placed Olympiacos at the top of the league standings. Just prior to the match, on March 12, the club officially announced a contract extension for El Kaabi until 2028. The deal, reportedly worth up to 10 million euros over three years including bonuses, makes him the highest-paid player in the current squad.
