Cyprus Minister of Labour outlines pension reform timeline

On Thursday, Cypriot Minister of Labour Marinos Mousiouttas addressed the 30th SEK pancyprian conference in Nicosia, highlighting the government's focus on pension system reform. The Minister identified the reform as the primary priority of his Ministry, aiming to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Social Insurance System and intergenerational equity. He established a concrete milestone for the legislative process, targeting June 2026 for the completion of discussions by the Parliament.
