Cyprus police issue search warrants for two individuals in Nicosia

Cypriot authorities are seeking two suspects in separate investigations within the Nicosia district. Oleg Vitebskiy, a 28-year-old Russian national residing in Cyprus, is wanted for crimes committed between March 6 and March 10, 2026. The charges against him include conspiracy to commit a felony, computer fraud, obtaining property by false pretenses, theft, and money laundering. Additionally, 35-year-old Theopisti Stylianou from the Nicosia district is being sought for a series of building burglaries and thefts occurring between January 24 and March 11, 2026. The Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is handling both cases. Authorities have urged anyone with information to contact the Nicosia CID at 22-802222, any local police station, or the Citizen's Line at 1460.
