Aegean reports 2025 financial results and dividend proposal

Aegean Airlines reported a total turnover of €1.86 billion for 2025, representing a 5% increase compared to the previous year. The airline transported 17.3 million passengers, an increase of nearly 1 million, across 21 million available seats. Net profit after taxes rose by 14% to €147.8 million, while EBITDA reached €421.5 million. The company proposed a dividend of €0.90 per share. Financial performance was impacted by €43.3 million in costs related to European regulatory requirements for carbon emissions and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Conversely, the company benefited from a decrease in fuel costs and the strengthening of the euro against the US dollar. The load factor for the year was 82.5%, with significant growth in winter operations during the fourth quarter.
