AEL Limassol forward Zakaria Sawo experiences goal drought

Swedish forward Zakaria Sawo has failed to score in his last five appearances for AEL Limassol. After joining the club in January, Sawo initially made an impact by scoring five goals in five games, with his final goal coming in a 2-1 victory over Aris on February 1. During his current five-match goalless streak, the team has suffered four defeats, securing only one victory against ENP. Sawo served as a substitute in recent matches against ENP and Apollon, entering the pitch in the 67th and 71st minutes respectively. Coach Hugo Martins is looking for the 26-year-old to regain his form, potentially starting him in the upcoming match against Omonia Aradippou at Alphamega Stadium.
