Road accident on Ayia Napa highway results in two injuries

On Wednesday, March 11, at 16:28, a road accident occurred on the Ayia Napa to Larnaca highway near the Agia Thekla exit in the Famagusta district. The Famagusta Fire Station, led by Sergeant Adamou Adamou, deployed a rescue team and a vehicle to the scene. Emergency responders stabilized one individual using a rescue stretcher. Both victims were subsequently handed over to the ambulance service. They were transported to the accident and emergency department of the Famagusta General Hospital for medical treatment. The rescue operation was confirmed by the Fire Department following the incident report. No information regarding the cause of the collision or the current condition of the injured has been released.
