Construction of water reservoir to begin in Avdimou in March 2026

The Water Development Department (WDD) of Cyprus announced that construction work for a new water reservoir and the installation of a water supply pipeline for the community of Avdimou will commence in mid-March 2026. The project will involve work on the main Avdimou-Pachna road (F606) connecting the two communities. During the construction period, the traffic lane heading from Pachna toward Avdimou will be closed to vehicles. Traffic in the remaining lane will be managed through the use of temporary traffic lights. The WDD has urged all drivers passing through the area to exercise caution due to the ongoing works.
