Infrastructure updates, water outages, and roadworks in Limassol and Nicosia districts

Several infrastructure and maintenance works are scheduled across Cyprus. On March 12, the Limassol District Self-Government Organization (EOA) addressed a water pipe failure in the Yermasoyia municipal district, aiming for restoration by 14:00. Furthermore, EOA Limassol announced a planned water outage in the Ypsonas district for March 18, 2026, from 07:30 to 17:30, to facilitate water network improvements. The affected area in Ypsonas is located north of the Limassol–Paphos highway, enclosed by Tasos Isaak, Yiannos Kranidiotis, Sofokleous, and Patriarch of Jerusalem streets. Separately, the Limassol Municipality will conduct asphalt paving on Archbishop Leontiou A’ Street on March 15, 2026, from 04:30 to 22:30, closing the road between Makariou G’ Avenue and 16th June 1943 Street. Additionally, the Department of Public Works scheduled lighting installation works on the Nicosia–Limassol (A1) highway near the Idali Industrial Area for March 14, 2026, between 07:00 and 12:00, necessitating temporary lane closures and traffic diversions.
