The trial regarding the rail disaster in Tempi continues at the Larissa One-Member Misdemeanor Court. On March 10, a judicial expert testified for the fifth consecutive day regarding video and photographic material from the hours following the collision. The expert revealed the existence of additional digital evidence that was not previously included in the case file. Following a motion by the prosecutor, the court ordered the seizure of computers and hard drives belonging to two experts to verify this new material. Lawyers representing the victims requested copies of the digital data for review. The court session was interrupted on Tuesday due to the judge feeling unwell. Proceedings are scheduled to resume on March 19. An issue regarding the selection of a special witness to evaluate the seized digital devices remains pending due to the unexpected recess.
