Cypriot and Greek citizens stranded in Dubai due to pet transport restrictions

The individuals are unable to return to their home countries because airlines operating flights from Dubai refuse to allow them to travel with their pets. While the airlines cite existing internal regulations and procedural policies as the basis for their refusal, the political parties describe the situation as a lack of humanitarian consideration. The parties argue that forcing owners to abandon their animals in an emergency or conflict zone is morally unacceptable. They are demanding that the airlines urgently revise their policies to accommodate the pets. Furthermore, the political parties have called upon government authorities and stakeholders to intervene in the matter. They have warned that if the airlines do not resolve the issue, they will publicly expose the names of the specific companies involved. Currently, the citizens remain in the UAE awaiting a solution to travel safely with their animals.
