Djokovic and Tsitsipas eliminated from Indian Wells doubles tournament

Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas were defeated in the round of 16 of the Indian Wells men's doubles tournament. The French duo Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot won the match 2-0 with set scores of 7-6, 7-5. Djokovic and Tsitsipas held a 5-3 lead in the second set but were unable to convert their advantage. In the first set, the pair also missed an opportunity to capitalize on three set points. Rinderknech and Vacherot advanced to the quarterfinals where they will face Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev. Earlier in the tournament, Novak Djokovic secured a singles victory against Aleksandar Kovacevic with a score of 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 to reach the round of 16.
