Cyprus Football Association signs four-year agreement for Pyrga stadium use

On Monday, the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) signed a four-year agreement with the Pyrga Community Council to utilize the local community stadium for national team training. The agreement was signed by CFA President Harris Loizides and Pyrga Community Council President Stavroulla Vasiliou. Officials present included CFA Vice President Fotis Fotiou, Deputy General Director Andreas Morias, and Assistant Director of the National Teams Department Christodoulos Thomas. The facility will serve as a permanent training base for national teams, with future provisions for hosting friendly matches for youth squads once upgrades are complete. The CFA will fund renovations to the locker rooms, training room, public sanitary facilities, and the creation of a medical office. Simultaneously, the Pyrga Community Council is responsible for upgrading the stadium lighting within the next six months.
