Olympiacos marks 101 years since foundation
On March 10, 2026, the Piraeus-based sports club Olympiacos CFP officially commemorated the 101st anniversary of its establishment. Founded on March 10, 1925, at Moira's tavern in Piraeus by figures including the Andrianopoulos brothers, Michalis Manouskos, and Notis Kamperos, the club has grown into a major multi-sport organization. Club president Vangelis Marinakis marked the occasion by emphasizing the organization's historic commitment to excellence in both domestic and European competition. Throughout its history, Olympiacos has achieved significant successes, including 48 Greek football league titles and the 2024 UEFA Europa Conference League victory. The club currently reports a total of 341 titles across its five primary team sports for men and women. The organization continues to focus on maintaining its competitive status while honoring its legacy established over the past century.
