Change of time for AEL and APOEL basketball cup semifinal

The basketball match between AEL Limassol and APOEL for the Final Four of the Cup has been rescheduled to Friday, March 13, at 17:00. Originally, the match was set to take place at 20:30. The decision was reached during a meeting at the Nicosia Police Directorate, where officials determined that the match carries a high security risk. Police authorities insisted on the time change, citing difficulties in security management at a later hour. Both AEL and APOEL managements opposed the rescheduling, arguing that the earlier time slot would limit fan attendance. Ticket allocations have been set at 350 tickets each for AEL and APOEL fans. Additionally, 100 invitations and 100 spots for academy children and their chaperones will be provided. AEL expressed dissatisfaction with the decision and stated intentions to seek changes for future event organization.
