Department of Contemporary Culture announces three funding schemes for 2026

The Department of Contemporary Culture under the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus has announced three new funding schemes for 2026. These programs target cultural organizations, theater groups, and entities seeking to enhance international networking and communication. All applications must be submitted exclusively via the digital platform grants4arts.cy. The primary scheme, which covers operational costs for cultural organizations, aims to support the sustainability of entities promoting contemporary Cypriot culture. A second scheme supports expenses related to promotion and international networking for cultural entities. A third scheme specifically funds the operational costs of theatrical organizations. The deadline for submitting applications for the operational cost funding is April 6, 2026, at 14:00. A three-member committee composed of department officials will evaluate all submitted applications. Final results will be published on the Deputy Ministry of Culture's website after the assessment process concludes.
