Cyprus Film Days 2026 to take place in April

The 24th edition of the Cyprus Film Days international film festival is scheduled to take place from April 17 to April 25, 2026. Screenings will be held at the Rialto Theatre and the Zena Palace. The event features a central theme focused on life, aiming to explore contemporary human experiences through cinema. Artistic directors Argyro Nicolaou and Petros Charalambous have curated a program that includes international competition films alongside local Cypriot premieres. The festival aims to serve as a platform for dialogue, presenting works that address themes of resilience and social change. Attendees are invited to participate in screenings and discussions throughout the nine-day event. The selection process prioritized both emerging cinematic voices and established authors to provide a multi-layered cultural experience.
