Cyprus restores air connectivity with Europe and the Middle East

Hermes Airports announced the restoration of air connectivity between Cyprus and European countries following a period of temporary suspensions caused by the situation in the Middle East. Major airlines including the Lufthansa Group, British Airways, easyJet, and Transavia have resumed their flight operations to and from Larnaca and Paphos International Airports. Furthermore, Emirates restarted daily flights between Larnaca and Dubai starting on Saturday. On March 9, a total of 102 flights are scheduled for Larnaca airport, while 36 flights are expected at Paphos airport. The airports maintain direct links with numerous countries including the United Kingdom, Greece, Germany, Poland, Austria, and others. Multiple carriers such as Wizz Air, Aegean, and Cyprus Airways provide these regional and international connections. This resumption marks a gradual normalization of travel activity for the Republic of Cyprus.
